Built by the provincial administration in 1940, the fountain stands at the foot of Piazza Santa Teresa connected to it by two flights of stairs. From the rigid and severe lines, the fountain, in green marble, houses on the summit the emblem of the eagle between the emblem of the city and that of the province below which stands the inscription concerning the dedication to the Duce and Vittorio Emanuele III.
